A mall for tall?!

Last week while I was reminiscing over past work with Long Tall Sally, and thinking about alternatives to LTS upon their closing announcement, I was reminded of another tall brand that I had the opportunity to work with early in my blogging days, that also had to close. Who remembers Tallgirls??

Blazer dress and leggings, both from TallGirlsUK

Though they were a much smaller brand, they still carried quite a few pieces that I still wear today. I was a little gutted that they had to close doors because as a tall girl, we can only hope to have MORE tall options, never less. About a year after they went out of business, owner Joanne Champion decided to refocus her efforts and open up a slightly different initiative, The Tall Collective. Instead of focusing on just one brand, she created a “tall mall” to feature multiple independent tall retailers, all shoppable in one space (currently tailored to the European market with plans to expand to US retailers and shoppers as well).

There’s no doubt that the closing of LTS opens up a window of opportunity for every independant tall brand to grow and expand to fill the gap that will be left in the tall fashion scene. I’m hopeful that brands such as MPG and Yoga Jeans who have supplied Long Tall Sally with exclusive tall fits, look to alternatives such as The Tall Collective to continue supplying these fits as opposed to just eliminating their tall options altogether.

Just because one door has closed, I believe that many more could open and I’m excited to see how the tall retail community grows in the near future! In the meantime, I’ve gathered a few of my fave Tallgirls pieces that I’ve discovered are STILL AVAILABLE over on The Tall Collective!

“Denim Slim Leg Play Suit Mid Blue” (not available in black anymore)
“Dropped Waist Dress Olive”
“Stripe Long Line Shirt White/Blue”

Until next week,

Supporting Black-owned TALL brands

This post is not about me. Or my feelings. Or my closet. I can’t tell you about my latest outfit faves when I feel like there’s a much more important conversation to be part of. While I continue to listen and learn and find ways to take action, it only makes sense to occupy this space by amplifying the voices (and brands) that need to be heard!

This week I’m choosing to celebrate Black-owned brands right here in our very own tall community. Choosing to support these brands is one way to help redistribute wealth in the fight for racial and financial equality, and friends, there are so many amazing options when it comes to tall clothing that THIS SHOULD BE A NO-BRAINER. There are endless resources available to find smaller, black-owned businesses and brands, whether it’s local or online (obviously for more than just clothing options), and making a conscious effort to find them, and put your money towards them is one of SO many ways you can contribute to change.

My list had a head start because a handful of these were already on my “To-Shop” list. But as the week went on, and fellow glamazons also started sharing some of their lists, I’ve discovered so many more and OMG.. when I have my job back, my bank account better get ready. Prepare yourself πŸ™‚

  1. The Sixes – I’ve been eyeing this shop for awhile. Fashion forward and chic pant silhouettes to give tall fashionistas the #fashionfreedom they’ve been looking for. I’m in love.
  2. Rhonda Lynette – I already own 3 pieces by Rhonda that, as soon as I received them, could tell that they were all sewn with love and such attention to detail. She makes everything herself! Her joggers are the next on my list πŸ™‚
  3. Wexist Inc. – They recently launched the cutest jogger sets, and also have a collection of tall print tees. Looking forward to see this one grow!!
  4. Jesse Queen the Collection – “Dress well because of your height, not in spite of it.” Another brand that has been on my “to-shop” list for far too long. Her pieces. Are. FIRE! My problem will be that I just don’t know what to get first.
  5. Talle Apparel – I slept on a gorgeous animal print dress when they first launched but they’re still on my list to shop, with dress, pant, co-ord, and jumpsuit options!
  6. Model Atelier – I first learned about them when they sent me their “model bag” a few years back. They have a little bit of everything now, but their blazer options are gorgeous and sophisticated silhouettes for a professional lady!
  7. Taylor Jay Collection – Sustainable, environmentally conscious, designed with every woman in mind. Though it’s not tall specific, I’ve seen Alicia Jay sporting some of her pieces so I can only assume it’s got the tall girl stamp of approval πŸ™‚
  8. Nineth Closet – This one is new to me but I was drawn instantly by all the pieces in their ‘resort’ collection. Must. Have.
  9. Height Goddess – Print tees and maxi dresses for glamazons.
  10. Tall Long and Curvy – I’ve yet to try her fitness leggings, but if you’re looking for length while building those curves, these look great!
  11. TTYA London – I found TTYA through their Long Tall Sally collab.. My fave collab still to date so I don’t know why I haven’t shopped them directly. That needs to change.
  12. Prissy Duck – relatively new on my radar, but from what I’ve seen, they’ve got all sorts of sophisticated options!
  13. Dimiloc – Specializing in all things maxi, offering standard, tall, AND extra tall sizing options!
  14. Rozana LDN – Another new to me brand. For the tall women who are tired of trying to blend in.
  15. Tall Moi – Brand new to me! Love their reversible fits, and LOOOVE their commitment to sustainable fashion.
  16. Tall Girl Gang Co – A tshirt line designed as a simple reminder that TALL is BEAUTIFUL. They’re also brand new to me and I’m a little sad to see their biker short set is sold out!
  17. Glamazon Boutique – Graphic tees, pants and jumpsuit options for us glamazons!
  18. Shop Ashley Raye – Another brand new to me brand (I’m so excited there have been so many this week) where sexy meets sophistication. I’m excited that I’ve added this one to my list!
  19. VeRaf Clothing – Unique and stylish with options for every budget!
  20. Chelbe Fashions – “Sleeves that go the length” and inseams up to 37.5″.. uhhh yes and yes!
  21. Tall Luxe – Launching Fall 2020, with inseams up to 39″ in sizes S-2X!!!
  22. A.L.M. Collection – I’ve yet to purchase, but I’ve been obsessing over her extreme bell bottom styles for awhile, with inseams up to 36″!
  23. Tall Exchange – not a brand, but rather a tall specific second hand clothing option, created by one of my fave tall influencers and founder of The Tall Society, Bree Wijnaar.
  24. Tall and Dope – size inclusive athleisurewear as a not so subtle reminder that we can be tall AND dope πŸ™‚
  25. Doux Bebe Kollection – brand new to me!!
  26. Eighth House – From what I can see, a clothing designer making handmade clothing for tall women.. Keeping my eyes on this one to see what comes!
  27. TLZ l’femme – I have to apologize because this brand is NOT tall, but you’ll probably forgive me when you see why I included them. I’ve come across this brand this last week (thank you instagram), and I’M OBSESSED. This is the type of brand I would make work with my height. Think streetwear meets couture meets statement. Just look. You’ll see.
  28. Reign Swim – Not necessarily tall specific, but this swimwear brand provides fuller bust options which I’ve recently been hunting for because I’m tired of settling for swimwear that doesn’t fit me. I’ve yet to add any to my collection but I love their simple yet current pieces!
  29. LFD Shop – They haven’t been active from what I can see, since 2018, but keeping on the list in case they make a comeback!
  30. Dellez Fashion – I’m so sad to see they’re no longer active. I own a gorgeous navy suit and pair of skinny jeans made by Dellez and can’t rave about those pieces enough. Leaving this here, in case she makes a comeback ❀

If I’ve left any out that you know of please let me know because I’d love to add them to my list (though I’m not sure my bank account is ready for it lol).. I also decided not to add photos to make you go look for yourself. Check them out. Find them on instagram. Follow them. Like them. Support them. If not now, maybe later, because this isn’t just a moment. It’s an entire movement and we’ve only just begun ❀

Timeless Fashion with Sumissura

There’s something to be said about classic, timeless pieces. Even though styles come and go, there are certain pieces that will never really get old. Jeans. Leather jackets. Suits. White t-shirts. Personally, I have a bad habit of buying too many statement pieces, but have been making more of an effort to round my wardrobe out with some more versatile classics. Now that I’m in my 30s, I find myself wanting to dress smarter and am learning that the key (for me) is to mix and match styles and pieces to make a finished and polished look. My favourites are outfits that look edgy, but clean. Professional, but daring.

For a few years now, I’ve been falling in love with women’s pantsuits. I think they’re timeless, powerful, and smart. Last year, a company called Sumissura reached out to me and asked if I’d like to try them out, and you can imagine my excitement when I found out that I could get a custom made and tailor fit green velvet tux; a gorgeous marriage between a classic shape with a statement finish.

This year, they reached out again, and I was SO excited with how the last order turned out, I asked if I might be able to try their custom-made trench coats and dresses. I’ve never had a classic trench and I knew that getting one that was made specific to my long limbed sizing would be the only way to go. Later this week I’ll be sharing a complete video on my YouTube channel, with my order process and my first try-on/review like I did with my last order, but I’m spoiling the surprise and letting you know that I LOVE EVERYTHING about this order too.

Trench coats have been around since the first and second World Wars, and have since become fashionable classic pieces throughout the decades. I know that this piece is going to get so much wear for years and years to come. I paired it with one of Sumissura’s flare knee length dresses, another very simple and classic piece. Altogether, this outfit made me feel like such a professional lady! As much as I love my street fashion, I really can’t ignore how sharp and put together an outfit like this makes me feel.

If you’re interested in checking out Sumissura for yourself (and I really think you should because the customization options are almost endless!!!), use my referral link for $25 off your first purchase (applicable to new users only), which will give me $25 off my next purchase — this referral program is open to everyone so you can invite your friends and get that referral bonus too!
If you already have an account but have never ordered, use my code: blgmermaid for 10% off your first purchase!! I don’t get paid if you use this code but this way they’ll know I sent you πŸ™‚

(I also didn’t get paid for this post or any post regarding Sumissura, but have been gifted my fully customized clothing items for an honest review.)

Anyways, I’m looking forward to having a reason to wear this outfit past my own sidewalk one of these days..
Hope you’re all hanging in there and staying safe and sane if you’re transitioning back to work. Big love,

xx

Staycation Season

Earlier this year, my boyfriend and I had talked about going away for his next birthday (which just passed on May 13). Crazy how things changed SO much and we’ve been mostly confined within the walls of our downtown apartment for the past two months.

We’re extremely lucky to have a bit of private outdoor space (a covered porch on the front, and an uncovered patio on the back of our apartment), and even though the weather has been slow to cooperate, we’ve been doing our best to make it feel less like the space we HAVE to stay in, and more like a space we GET to spend time in.

Now it’s never going to compare to being poolside in a tropical climate, but by adding some greenery, and enjoying some tasty beverages on the few sunny days we’ve had, I’ve gotta say, it hasn’t been too bad. Add a few new bikinis to the mix, and I almost start feeling like this extended time off is a low budget vacation, or staycation rather. So I thought I’d share a few of my recent fave staycation drink choices and bikini options.

First of all, I’m a lover of ciders, so MOST of the sunny days have consisted of drinking a local cider while sunbathing. We often try to grab a few different options every time we pick some up, and I’ve landed on a few that are becoming regular repeats:If it’s not a cider, we generally make some sort of ginger beer and liquor mixed. Our newest favourite is a spiced rum with ginger beer and a cherry apple [non-alcoholic] cider. Finally, just so I can feel like I’m in ultimate vacation mode when the sun comes out, I recently bought a few swimsuits from the ASOS “Fuller Bust” selection, and I am THRILLED! I’ve always had a difficult time finding cute swimwear that fits properly (I typically wear a US 32G give or take depending on style), and have often sacrificed fit for style. They have so many style options for such a broad range of sizes, and now that I know those options exist, feel like I never have to worry about having improperly fitted swimwear again.SHOPPING LINKS (note — each purchase was from the sale section and may no longer be available but there are SO many others to choose from as well)

My Recent OOTDs

It’s May 11, and I’m still wearing a wintery jacket and beanie for my walk to the grocery store. I should have grabbed my gloves on my way out but overestimated how warm it was outside, and paid the price with cold hands the whole way. This whole polar vortex thing here in Canada and lack of sunshine really isn’t helping my creativity when it comes to getting dressed because all I want to do is bundle up in my warmest, coziest clothes if I have to leave the house, and I feel like I’ve been recycling variations of the same outfit over and over.

Most of the time when I share outfits on my blog, I try to share new items so that if anyone is inspired or interested in something, they can get it for themselves. These outfits are all things that have been in my closet for awhile, but if I can find links on where to buy I’ll be sure to include them. If they’re unavailable, I’ll still let you know where it’s all from anyways so you at least know where I shop! Either way, here are some of the outfits I’ve been wearing on my quarantine walks πŸ™‚

Being Productive at Home

It seems as though much of the world has a bit of extra time on their hands lately. I’ve officially been off of work now for 2 weeks and after browsing social media far more than I’d like to admit, have realized how much more productive everyone else seems to have been at this time.

Now I don’t know about you, but I personally have a very difficult time finding motivation at home. Once I hit the couch, I just want to snuggle under a blanket and binge-watch the latest Netflix series, or share snacks with my boyfriend while we laugh over a round of Unstable Unicorns (if you’ve never heard of this game, 10/10 would recommend lol). My productivity hasn’t really had much of a lifespan once I enter my front door. Work, working out, yoga, and often writing blog posts… they were all things that I did outside of my home because I’m very well aware that once I got back there, I probably wouldn’t do it. With the recent change of pace in the world, this was definitely a pattern I needed to change since home has now become my gym, studio, office, etc.

For anyone else struggling, I’ve come up with a few strategies that have been helping me find motivation to be productive.

  1. At the end of the day, make a list of things you want to get done the next day, in order of importance (surprise surprise, my Productivity Journal has been coming in handy!)
  2. Establish a morning routine that gets you up and out of bed. For myself it involves getting up and doing a small workout (not necessarily as intense as I’d do at the gym, but something that at least gets my heart rate up), and then having a small breakfast and a tea.
  3. Put yourself together. I know that if I stay in my pj’s all day, I definitely won’t get much done, so I make an effort to put my face on and put an outfit together. Yes.. I’m that person wearing jeans in quarantine because it motivates me to get moving. If I want to have a comfier day, I try to choose something that still feels like an outfit (like the sets from my last post).
  4. Don’t be hard on yourself, and don’t compare yourself to others. I try to have realistic expectations and do my best to cross things off my list, but if I don’t finish everything, it’s okay. Last week I was getting down on myself when I saw so many people crushing home workouts on instagram, or making tiktoks of all the things they’ve done with all their time off, and felt like I’d wasted so much time already. Pushing those thoughts aside has helped me focus on what I CAN do and AM doing, instead of what I’m not.

I’m sure everyone finds motivation in different ways but so far that’s what’s been helping me. If you have any tips on things that help you, I’d love to add to my list!

On that note, I have a few outfits to share this week. My friends over at Alloy Apparel have been part of the reason I’ve been excited to get dressed when I seemingly have no actual reason to. Not complaining though.. It helped me realize part of what I needed to get me moving. You can also see all the pieces and my thoughts on them over on my YouTube channel!

What Does Your Profile Say About You?

My boyfriend and I started watching a new reality series, The Circle, on Netflix this week. It kinda has this Big Brother-esque feel to it, except the contestants don’t meet in person, they only meet and interact via their in game app, The Circle, similar to a Facebook style platform. They befriend each other, flirt, converse, strategize, all through chat messages, and the only things that anyone knows about them comes from what they share on their profiles or through conversations.

Watching the way the contestants started to interpret their opponents’ photos, profiles, and words, making assumptions before actually knowing anything real about them, made me start to wonder how people perceive me based off of what I share. While it’s difficult to really look at myself objectively, I’d like to think that I try make sure my sense of self is translated through every platform I share on in a way that’s authentic and honest.. and fashionable when I can lol *insert outfit photos here*

Outfit details:
Jacket: Alloy Apparel
Bodysuit: Alloy Apparel
Jeans: Alloy Maxwell Jeans (discontinued)
Hat: Blackburn & Raymond
Watch: MVMT
Touque: Dollarama
Belt: Dollskill
Black Boots: old Aldo Shoes
White boots: Missguided

….there are so many thoughts I was going to dive into when I really started thinking about this show, but none of them are complete, and would also lead to a much much longer read that probably wouldn’t have any real conclusion. I thought of one paragraph about adding “authenticity” to my 2020 vision board.. another about the contestants on the show who are catfish and how I feel about that. That probably would have led to a quick “OMG Catfish is coming out with a new season” comment followed by a brief dive into my own experiences with fake people on the internet (click HERE for some of that tea!!)… and before you know it you don’t really know what this post was about in the first place.

So for now I’ll just leave with food for thought: What does your online presence say about you, and are you okay with that?

Until next time,

xx

The Sumissura Experience!

I was recently contacted by Sumissura about trying out their service for a custom tailored outfit. If you’re unfamiliar with Sumissura, they’re a Swiss-based brand of tailor-made clothing for women whose goal is to give all women the opportunity to access the world and enjoy the comfort of tailor-made clothing at an affordable price.

I didn’t know how the whole process worked until I checked out their website, but had been following them already on instagram, so I knew they had some gorgeous styles to offer. I was given the option to choose a suit and a shirt, so I quickly got to work customizing my order.

Sumissura offers many pre-designed suits, tuxedos, jackets, dresses, etc., but their most exciting feature is to design your own. Once I saw the extensive selection of fabrics, I knew EXACTLY what I would hope to have made. My inspiration was drawn directly from Cate Blanchett’s character in Ocean’s 8. I fell in love with her entire wardrobe throughout the movie, most specifically, her green velvet pant suit.

cateblanchettgreen
Cate Blanchett – Ocean’s 8

The customization process includes everything from fabric to lapel size, and pocket styles to the fit of the pants. I think I successfully recreated the suit I was envisioning, within Sumissura’s offerings. I then used their super easy to follow instructional video to import all of my measurements so that not only was my suit made to my style preferences, but also specifically for MY body (every tall girl’s dreams).

My package arrived safe and sound, exactly two weeks after I placed my order, but I waited until the following Saturday (5 days later) to try it on so I could film the experience (watch my entire Sumissura process HERE). They DO have a perfect fit guarantee, so if things aren’t fitting properly they’ll remake it or pay for alterations as long as you contact support within 7 days of receiving the order.

Long story short, I’M IN LOVE WITH MY SUIT!!! Everything fits like a glove. The quality is unreal. It looks ON POINT! When I’m wearing it, I feel like a boss bitch ready take whatever life wants to throw my way (actually though… don’t mess with me while I’m wearing it!).

I think it’s important to note that because I’m used to a stretch pant that moves with me, the tailor fit pant without stretch is a bit of an adjustment. The length of the pant is JUST at the ankle when I’m standing because I didn’t want them to bunch at the bottom, so if I sit it rides up the leg (the way a men’s pant would). The fit around my waist and ankle is also a touch snug, BUT because I gave them my measurements I probably could have added an extra 1/4 inch to allow for a bit of movement. Not being an experienced seamstress, I didn’t really think that one through. I just have to make sure my booty/thigh gains aren’t too significant in the next month or so, because I plan on wearing this one to my friend’s wedding!

The ONLY other thing worth raising a potential flag to, is the length from waist to crotch. I don’t think there was an option to add a measurement for this area, and for us tall girls, this could raise a concern. Adding extra length to a pant for a tall girl often means adding length everywhere and not just in the leg. My pair of pants turned out pretty perfectly, but for anyone who has a long hip/waist, you MAY find it a little snug.

As for the blouse, I am in love with it. The fit is perfect. The material is SO ridiculously soft and I don’t think I’ve ever had a blouse that fits so nicely. I often find if I want it to fit my boobs, there’s no shape in the waist, and then if i want it to fit my waist, I’ll risk popping a button. I don’t have any of those concerns with this one and it looks so sharp!

For a custom tailored outfit, what Sumissura offers their customers is amazing! I’ve never ordered anything custom tailored before, and this experience was so easy, efficient and successful that I’ll definitely be making another order! I’ve already been raving about it to my girlfriends lol.. Every woman needs a good power suit. Even if I had any issues with my order, I know that because the process was so smooth, getting it fixed or altered would be just as hassle-free.

I want to give a  HUGE thank you to Eugenie at Sumissura for setting me up with this experience. Don’t be surprised if you find me in a suit at every occasion for the rest of forever. ❀

Hello 2019 – feat. Rhonda Lynette

My holiday season was extremely refreshing. I kicked off December by committing to Vlogmas on my YouTube channel (watch HERE), ended up going on a last minute trip to Miami for a week, and then spent two days with Adam’s family (Christmas Day and Boxing Day), and a few days later, two days with my own family.

The time with family and the time with Adam was everything I needed to close out 2018 and begin a new year feeling recharged. I’m not one to sit down and make resolutions, but we’re just over a week into the new year now, and I feel like I have an energy to actually DO something, that I haven’t really felt in awhile.

I don’t know where along the line I lost inspiration, but last year was a pretty uninspiring one overall. Perhaps it was the impending Dirty 30’s, or just an overall lack of direction, but I just didn’t know where I was going, or what I wanted to do. Now, I haven’t had some grand epiphany with an exact idea of what to do, and to be honest I’m still not sure I have much direction either, but the desire to get back to shooting feels exciting. I have outfits I need to shoot (which you’ll be seeing here soon), and people I want to shoot with, and generally, things I want to DO!

I think part of the fire under my feet was stoked when I received a few new items from Rhonda Lynette! I included my first reactions in my Vlog that dayΒ and then made use of my sister and her new camera lens to shoot some photos when I went home for Christmas.

The passion, love and care that goes into each garment (which are, by the way, hand sewn by Rhonda herself!!!), reminded me of the passion, love and care I have when it comes to sharing tall fashion with other tall babes… which brings me to my first non-resolution. Time to create more. Time to shoot more. Time to play more music. Anything that helps me express myself. Time to do more of that.

Another one of my non-resolutions is actually something that I did a little bit of last year. I want to travel more. Last year I had a weekend in New York, a hair show in Vegas followed by a few days in LA, and I closed the year with that week in Miami. Getting out of the city, and getting a taste of another, helps me reset and overall just reminds me how much living there is to do outside of the bubble we live in here in Toronto. I don’t have any huge trips planned yet, but I definitely would love a little summer getaway, a birthday getaway in October, and perhaps a New Years getaway to celebrate another anniversary with my boyfriend (we just celebrated 5 years)… as a starting point..

The last non-resolution I have is more of a loose goal. Looking at where I am going into 2019, I want to be in a much more financially secure position, or at least have a more solid plan of how to get there when it comes time to ring in 2020. I’m definitely at an age that has me thinking of a family and what that would look like, so by the end of the year I’d like to confidently say that I’d be ready or at least have some sort of plan for how I would make that adventure work when the time comes.

My next task for myself (aside from creating another YouTube video for next week), is to create a little mood/vision board. I want to be able to visualize these things every day so that I don’t lose track of where I’m headed, while also reminding myself to stay open and welcome to the possibility that things could twist and turn and change along the way. As long as I’ve got my head up, the only direction I plan on moving this year is forward. Progression and growth is the only option for me.

Girl Power Is Sexy

I attended the 6th annual TSOQ Panty Party last night. What originally started as a birthday party for Angela and Valentina, the owners of one of Toronto’s most fashionable boutiques, and my personal fashion parents, has turned into the best party of the year. The catch? You have to wear lingerie, and (sorry boys) it’s a girls only event.

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

For some, the dress code might sound intimidating, but the beauty of this entire event, is that it is the most female empowering party I have ever been to, and everywhere you turn and look, women are celebrating themselves and each other, in outfits that make them feel sexy and strong, not for the validation of others, but for themselves. It’s easy to become comfortable in whatever attire you’ve chosen for your outfit when there are only positive vibes and love being spread amongst guests, and everyone is there as an equal. Even though it was my 4th time attending, I still fell in love with the atmosphere all over again, feeling inspired by the overwhelmingly magnetic female energy that was buzzing through the venue until last call.

This year, I was once again the tallest in the room, sporting a solid 5″ heel with my outfit. I’m used to this being the case, but I often refrain from wearing heels on the regular (even though I LOVE them), because I just get exhausted responding to the comments about my height. Especially the age-old remarks from strange men like “ohh I could climb you like a tree!” But wearing heels in a group of supportive and positive women is a completely different story. Not once during the night did the comments about my height exhaust me or make me uncomfortable. Instead of hearing “wow you’re tall” in a derogatory manner, comments were more along the lines of “you’re a beautiful amazon,” oozing with warmth and admiration. Instead of feeling like a weirdo for being a giant, I felt like a goddess amongst fellow goddesses. I think that’s what this event does. It makes every woman feel like the goddess she is, and THAT is a powerful feeling.

One of my friends, Laura, shared a quote on her insta story directly after the party and I loooved the message. (original post by @onourmoon HERE)

Sexy used to be directly related to sex for me. If you were sexy, you had sex appeal, and men would want to have sex with you. That used to be my end goal when I was young — to be sexy enough so that guys would “want” me. That’s what society taught me to believe. Now, sexy to me means doing the things that make me want to be me. Sexy has nothing to do with sex, and everything to do with vulnerability, inner strength and living your values.

Thank you TSOQ for providing a beautiful and safe space where it’s okay for women to embrace their own versions of sexy. And for building a community that supports each other for doing so.
